Education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one.

– Malcolm Forbes

Why we do it

Many schools employ traditional pedagogy that is focused on the knowledge-based-economy. This is outdated and no longer able to prepare learners to thrive in the 21st century. The prioritisation of hard skills (subjects and sport) and competition in schools and the inability of the current schooling system to adapt to real-world needs is leaving our youth underdeveloped and ill-equipped to make a meaningful difference to persistent and interconnected local and global social, environmental, and economic challenges.
