Grade 1-2: Waste Not, Want Not

In this module, students learn that things from nature decompose into compost. They also learn about what other items decompose, such as paper. And on the note of paper, learners get a chance to make their own paper - embracing a recycling-based solution. Students also explore new habits to help improve their own footprint on waste, especially when it comes to the types of food they consume at school.
